Life is Crap has the quote of the decade. And you know it is from none other than Cubs skipper Dusty Baker.

"Anybody that's been in baseball knows the toughest guys to pitch against are Minor League guys. Those kids are out there swinging."- Dusty Baker

And therein lies the best laid plans of the Cubs offensive approach. It's similar to me and my golf game: swing hard because you might hit it.

Cubs: 26-37, 12 games back of STL. The Cubs have scored only 249 runs. Only the Royals have scored fewer runs in MLB. The Cubs run differential is -63. Only the D'Rays and Royals have worse.

Who was hitting 1 & 2 again last night? Pierre and Perez. OBP? .284 & .230.

Enough already.
