DUSTY SAYS THE DARNEDEST THINGS
The latest in the litany of Dustyisms is his comment on Michael Barrett's 6 passed balls. Chicago Tribune writes that Baker defended Barrett because "it was a difficult staff to catch because of the movement on their pitches."
Just curious, would that be the many moving out of the ballpark? I like Barrett. But 6 is too many. He has also thrown out only 18% on SB attempts. Granted some of that is due to the staff. But the bottom line is it's another transparent Dusty line to make him look like a player's manager.
