NO WORD ON HARDAWAY OR MULLIN BUT...

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Coach Mike Montgomery was dismissed by
the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, and Don Nelson was ready to
step in.

Golden State will re-hire Nelson, the second-winningest coach in
NBA history and the last coach to lead the downtrodden Warriors to
the playoffs, on Wednesday, a league source told The Associated
Press.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal
hadn't been completed, said the 66-year-old Nelson settled his
differences with Warriors owner Chris Cohan and agreed to return to
the club where he went 277-260 from 1988-95 and led Golden State to
its last playoff appearance in 1994.

What about C-Webb coming back? Run TMC was so cool I actually boaught a Warriors t-shirt.

And can I use this as an excuse to remember that in the history of jocks-in-the-booth, that Tim Hardaway was easily the worst ever? Gosh, that was hard to watch, and mostly not in a fun way.
