Who is Peter Tomarken? One phrase will give it away: "No whammies! No whammies! STOP!"He was the affable host of the gameshow "Press Your Luck". I was remiss in not mentioning his passing the other day. That show was revolutionary to an extent. They had that whammy guy with his different animations, performing his different moves that would make your money total disappear. Tomarken did a great job on that show and both he and the show have a unique place in gameshow history.
This Monday, while working as an "Angel of Mercy" pilot, he was killed along with his wife when their small plane crashed off the coast of Santa Monica, California. They were on their way to San Diego to pick up a cancer patient. He was 63 years old. May the Tomarkens rest in peace.
