BACKUP CATCHERS MAKE 7 MILLION?

Off the AP, I like the lead:

O's complete their quest for a backup catcher

BALTIMORE (AP) - Free agent catcher Ramon Hernandez and the
Baltimore Orioles finalized their 27-point-five (m) million-dollar, four-year contract today. The 29-year-old backstop hit .290 with 12 homers and 58 RBIs last season for the San Diego Padres. The addition of Hernandez means less time behind the plate for Javy Lopez, who complained of sore knees toward the end of last season.

The Orioles are pretty pathetic, and it's no wonder Tejada wants out. How's thst Sosa deal working for them?

Retarded. Even Tampa Bay thinks they suck.
